Statistical evidence provides us with detail on the extent to which individuals suffer from stress, anxiety and burnout.  According to Stress Statistics in 2023 40% of workers found their job to be ‘very or extremely stressful.’ 74% stated that they have experienced overwhelm and were unable to cope.  A third that they had increased their alcohol consumption to manage.

This course concentrates on how technicians can manage stress utilising key strategies to be both aware of stress and how to mitigate its effects.  It explores how they can increase their capacity to recover and bounce back from workplace setbacks, relieve the symptoms of crisis and build resilience to overcome the challenges in the technical services environment.

It will focus on simple and practical processes to enable participants to effectively deal with stress for a positive impact on themselves and everyone around them. There will be a mixture of interactive sessions, group work and learning through the use of individual diagnostics on this programme.
