The Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999 require employers to conduct suitable and sufficient risk assessments. The certificate in Risk Assessment provides formal recognition of an individual’s ability to undertake such a risk assessment in line with the Health and Safety Executive’s Five Steps to Risk Assessment.
