Outreach training for technicians

Technical staff from across the UK are invited to take part in a one-day outreach training symposium at Aston University

The day-long event takes place on 17 April. It features technical colleagues from across the Midlands Innovation university partnership, who will be delivering talks and workshops on the topic of outreach.

Outreach is a key activity for universities to attract new students and highlight opportunities for apprenticeships and employment. Technicians increasingly lead on outreach, often raising the profile of technical careers, and inspiring young people.

The one-day symposium is aimed at technicians who are interested in developing skills and confidence to deliver outreach activities.
