A collaborative team from the Higher Education and Technician Educational Development (HEaTED), Keele University, University of Birmingham, National Technician Development Centre and Institute of Science and Technology, have put together a report that looks at some key metrics and highlights from the event.

The resulting report, Networking Event for Learning and Development: Apprenticeships (PDF, 500KB), showcases the importance of collaboration when leading and inspiring individuals to undertake further education in the form of an apprentice. Technicians, managers, individuals with strategic roles and Heads of Departments play a vital role in inspiring new talent and facilitating up-skilling of current staff. Apprenticeships play a vital role in these two key areas of creating a sustainable workplace.

The key reason for the report was to celebrate the work that our partners are doing in supporting apprentices and the technical community as a whole, whilst also working together to deliver a hugely successful event.

We have released this report between 8 to 14 February 2021 during Apprenticeship Week with the theme of 'Build The Future'.
